SOLD--The Sutton is a lightweight, possibly silk, vintage gown from the 1950s. It's a flowing, ethereal piece with a bodice embellished with appliques, pearls, and sequins. Organza pink bows adorn the top of the sleeves, which are also edged with pearls, and a matching bow graces the end of the train. Three pink crystals are set at the center of the gown. The dress bustles elegantly, with all buttons and hooks intact. Light staining is present in some areas but is barely noticeable. The gown has been cleaned, with stains treated and pressed. Due to the potential silk material, stain removal was performed with care. Envision bridal photos with the wind gracefully lifting the stunning train. The dress had a tear in the train upon arrival, but it has been repaired, and the pink bow largely conceals the mend. The gown measures 48 inches in length from the center V of the neckline and was created by Florence Danforth. Note: Pictures show a full petticoat worn underneath, which is not included. The bust measures 32-33 inches, waist 26 inches, train approximately 65 inches, and shoulder to shoulder 13 inches.
